The Campus Health & Sports Club is available to all HTC staff members and corporations. On this website you will find more information on our services.

The Campus Health & Sports Club is an integral part of Corporate Vitality B.V. which focuses on the health and vitality of company staff members. Our clients consist of corporations such as ASML and DAF. Corporate Vitality believes in the power of social evenst & preventive health services. A multidisciplinary approach that is often used on corporations has been brought together in the Campus Health & Sports Club.

High Tech Crit Festival

A two-day cycling festival full of innovation that will put Eindhoven even more on the map as the capital of innovation: that is the goal Corporate Vitality has in mind. If everything runs as we hope, the High Tech Campus will be the backdrop for a major cycling event on the weekend of 23 and 24 June 2018.

Health consultations

Massage

The Campus Health & Sports Club offers two massage treatments. Both the sports and relaxation massages are beneficial to your body, releasing stress and fatigue, and making you feel energized and refreshed.

The trajectory of life can be quite demanding, and it may come with physical ailments. By regularly having a relaxation treatment, you will notice that you will not only feel relaxed, but also fully energized.

Physiotherapeutic consultation

In a physiotherapeutic consultation, the body’s functional aspect is examined. The physiotherapist drafts a treatment plan to train your muscles in an appropriate way. This will prevent current ailments and contribute to an improved physical balance. The consultation also allows for an increased collaboration with trainers and coaches.

Sleep consultation

If you are not waking up well-rested or find it hard to fall asleep, the sleep consultation may be the solution. Many factors could cause insomnia. Our somnologist Dr Karel Schreuder is able to guide you to a good night’s sleep that will diminish or even prevent ailments.

Drs Karel Schreuder is a medical doctor and somnologist who graduated from Universiteit van Amsterdam in 1981. Schreuder continued his education, earning a degree in social medicine at Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen in 1986, and a degree in forensic medicine at the Netherlands School of Public and Occupational Health in Utrecht six years later.

Sports doctor

Our sports doctor focuses on sports injury consultations, sport medical examinations, maximum performance tests and consultations related to sport activity. Additionally, he provides sport medical guidance to both individual sportsmen and teams, as well as evaluating and rehabilitating patients with a chronic disease (such as cardiac, pulmonary, and oncological rehabilitation). Following a consultation, the sports doctor is able to provide a roadmap which will help to avoid ailments. Additionally, he advises on training schemes.

General practitioner and vaccinations

The GP assesses and treats a variety of physical and mental ailments. During the consultation hour he elaborates on his assessment, and whenever required, he will also provide reassurance. The GP consultation also includes advice on nutrition, general health and physical exercise.

Paul Meurs managed a GP practice which he eventually transformed into a health centre. Additionally, Meurs is a tutor at the Universiteit van Maastricht. and also conducts roles as a travellers advisor and deputy GP. Meurs is also available for second opinions, health checks (for visa application, driver’s licence etc.) and GP consultations. Since March 2017 Meurs operates on behalf of Corporate Vitality as expat medical officer at ASML.

Health Check

During the Corporate Vitality health check you will have a medical and lifestyle screening. The lifestyle screening will be conducted by way of a digital scientific questionnaire. The medical screening will be conducted by certified doctors at one of the Corporate Vitality locations. Both results will be included a computer system that complies with all legal privacy and security regulations. Followi9ng the health check, the doctor will give a consultation in which he will elaborate on the results. Afterwards, a personal report will be forwarded to you.

Personal health training

Personal health training encompasses one-on-one guidance during actual training. This can also be done accompanied by your partner or a friend. The training lays bare the power of exercise on both a physical and mental level. A good physical condition, and maintaining this, is the very foundation of a healthy and energetic life.

Beppie van Kessel is an experienced trainer who would like to show you the benefits of being in shape. She happily receives you at the Campus Health & Sports Club for a preliminary interview which will form the base for a tailor-made plan. Experience the pleasure of being able to endure the dynamics of daily life. Training regularly has a beneficial effect on body and mind. Van Kessel’s expertise can easily be combined with your willingness to participate. Your most important goals will be achieved!

Outdoor boot camp

Boot camp is about practicing sports in groups outdoors under the supervision of a trainer. If practicing sports indoors isn’t for you, boot camp maybe the solution! Training sessions consists of running, interval training and fitness exercises, and form the ideal way to make you stronger, leaner and more energetic in the challenging surrounds of the outdoors.

Small group training

Small group training is about training with your partner or a friend under the guidance of an experienced trainer. You will both be assigned a trainer who will collaborate on achieving set goals.

Online health training

Choose a subscription on our online coaching health module. Indicate your preferred moments of contact, but let yourself be coached from long distance on health, nutrition, and exercise matters. Our expert trainers guide you to a life full of health and vitality, and help you to achieve your goals.

The virtual gym

Online coaching is a coaching trajectory on training and nutrition, provided from long distance by using internet, and given by experienced and professional personal health trainers. After a preliminary interview with your coach you will receive a personal training and nutrition plan which gets you on track. Both your training sessions and consumption pattern are meticulously registered in a special app that gives your coach direct insight and the ability to take corrective measures.

Power yoga

Power yoga is not a performance oriented activity and you don’t need to be supple to participate. It improves the body’s flexibility. Each lesson presents a number of yoga positions are being practiced, aiming to improve the functionality of parts of the body and some of its functions, such as organs, glands, joints, blood vessels, nervous system and balance.

Beppie van Kessel teaches the power of yoga and how it enables you to improve your physical balance. This will bring added value into your daily life.  Classes are given at the Campus Health & Sport Club’s yoga studio.
