Do you want to practice yoga where and when it suits you? That’s possible with our Personal Yoga Training. We can offer you the possibility of yoga lessons in our private gym on the HighTech Campus, or in your home or work place, or, given the right weather conditions, out of doors. You can choose! The yoga training is adapted to your personal needs and all that you need is a yoga mat, supplied during the training.

TYPES OF YOGA

 

Maxx Training offers the following types of yoga:

Easy flow | low intensity training
This is an “easy” to follow stretch-flow in which the stretch positions and exercises flow into each other. In the lesson the standing, sitting and prone stretches follow one another. Easy flow yoga improves joint flexibility. The addition of deep breathing exercises increases the physical sensation of calm.

The lesson ends with relaxation exercises. They ensure that the effect of the exercises on the body is intensified.

 

Yin yoga | very light intensity training
This is a slow, soft type of yoga. It includes relaxed positions (asanas) which are maintained for three to five minutes. Because you remain in apposition for a relatively long period of time you intensify the effects from muscle level to the internal organs, stretching and hydrating the connective tissue and helping joints to remain supple. Deep breathing exercises increase the physical sensation of calm.  The lesson ends with relaxation exercises. They ensure that the effect of the exercises on the body is intensified.

 

Yogalates | moderate intensity training
This yoga form interchanges strength and flexibility. The stretches derived from yoga and the pilates core exercises are combined to create an effective training to support the spinal column. The muscles which contribute to good posture are exercised. To increase oxygen intake the dynamic strengthening exercises and the relaxing stretch exercises are based on breathing exercises. This ideal combination ensures optimal cleansing and stimulation of the circulation. The lesson ends with relaxation exercises. They ensure that the effect of the exercises on the body is intensified.

 

Power yoga | moderate intensity training
This is a powerful, varied form of yoga. It includes different power and flexibility elements which together ensure an effective whole-body training. A pleasant combination of exercise and relaxation in the power yoga lessons gives stability, flexibility and strengthens various muscle groups. The lesson ends with relaxation exercises. They ensure that the effect of the exercises on the body is intensified.

 

 

All the types of yoga are practised barefooted and in comfortable clothing. It is advisable not to eat or drink 30 minutes before the start of the yoga lesson to prevent nausea of stomach pains.
